The central government is headquartered in the capital Legoland City and is led by the New Brick Order political party leader Obnoxious Consensus in his role as General Secretary of the Legoland Empire. Consensus is considered the second most powerful minifig in the land being subordinate in position only to the head of state, Emperor David.

Consensus has a key ally in the Castleland province in regional leader Lord Colossus Denarius. Lord Denarius’ administration governs the autonomous territory on a day-to-day basis for the central government. The region won autonomy in the 1990s after violent protests by ethnic Castle minifigs against ethnic Town minifigs (Townfigs), whom they blamed for imposing their modern lifestyle.
