LFC seriously pissed off after bid is rebuffed ...
Coach of ND Land FC blames "foolish draws" ...
Relentless Reds secure historic treble ...
Originating from Basicstan, Atlas Bell played in the Basicstan Premier League until the state was annexed by the Legoland Empire on 31st June 2008. As
one of the leading club sides from the Empire's new province, the Legoland Football Association granted the franchise a place in the nation's
second division for the 2008/09 season.

The place had been freed up as part of the LFA's continued restructuring of the SuperLeague in Autumn 2008 that saw the majority of the remaining Italian-Lego clubs expelled under a process encouraged by the central government called "Legoisation".
Telephone company, Telecom Legoland purchased the team in May 2008 after the CEO Timus Divisionus Multiplexus's phone-tapping of government phone lines allowed him to foresee the invasion of Basicstan and extrapolate the likelihood of Atlas Bell's entry into the Legoland league. It was indeed a gamble yet it one that paid off. The club's bid to reach Serie A was spearheaded by Mr Multiplexus who invested heavily in a promotion push and packed the first team with big names, all secured on loan from clubs around the Panterra continent.
The club secured promotion with a 2-0 win over Bari at the San Nicola. Not one of the on loan players, which comprised the entire squad, was purchased following promotion and this renegaded on a gentlefig agreement between Atlas Bell and the loaning clubs which may well lead to most teams refusing to lend players to Atlas Bell in future.
Atlas Bell's transfer dealings this Summer have been impressive enough with over £32m spent on players. The top signings include Joleon Lescott, Titus Bramble, Michael Carrick, Gökhan İnler, Gabriel Agbonlahor and Emile Heskey.
With the expansion of the Serie A to a 24 team division, Castleland United were granted one of the two new places by the LFA for
their past achievements in domestic competitions. The club, traditionally considered the second club in the Empire's often-troubled
Castleland province after Lion Lakers, won an amazing five consecutive Derby Cup titles from 2003 to 2008.

The cup triumphs nevertheless were not accompanied by success in Serie B and the team failed to return to the top flight after relegation in the 2003/04 campaign.
The Shields' fortunes may now be set to change after their recent takeover by the Castle Clan newspaper group. The company's owner and new Castleland United club president, Mr Prestigious Royalus, previously owned another of the region's top sides in Black Fortress Barbarians and had significant success with these.
Since their surprise off-the-field promotion, Castleland United have over-hauled their playing staff. The most notable signings for the club are Jonathan Zebina and former Castleland United star Lars-Gunnar Carlstrand.
Last playing in Legoland in the 2003/04 Serie A under the name Real Madrid, Real Legoland were forced out of the league after
the football association's fledging policy of "Legoisation" was first starting to spread its tentacles. With the Serie A
expansion and the club's rebranding, the LFA readmitted the team into the SuperLeague and gave the club its top flight status back.

The team had been playing in the ND Land lower leagues since its expulsion and could not believe their luck.
Real Legoland's potential for future success has dramatically increased after the leading television firm in Legoland, NTL, purchased the club on 25th May. Since then the new owners have taken out their cheque book splashing out £62m on players, more than any other club in the entire division.
With the appointment of prestigous coach Manuel Pellegrini and the purchase of big names including Iker Casillas, Guti, Arjen Robben, Wesley Sneijder and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Real are expected to challenge for a Super 16 Conference place next season.
One of the smaller teams ever to grace Serie A, Stuart Spacers have for the majority of their 15 year history languished in the
second and third divisions. The 2009/10 season will be the Spacers first time in the top flight and coincidently comes at a time of
increasing influence from Space culture on the Empire.

Up until 2008 Space minifigs were the fourth largest ethnic group in Legoland after the City, Castle and Pirate races yet proof that contraception is no longer used on other planets saw a population boom in 2008 that has resulted in Space minifigs now outnumbering the combined Pirates and Castle minifig populations.
Back on the football field, the Clancy Insurance Corporation's financial backing enabled the team pip Milan and Foggia for the third promotion place in the 2008/09 Serie B. Having spent the bulk of their funds on the promotion push, the Spacers had limited funds to finance a significant delve in the transfer market yet have secured the services of a number of hot prospects and seasoned veterans. Top names brought in include LFC's rising star Geoffrey Macintyre, signed on loan, former LFC and BFB striker Ariffin and Macauley Chrisantus, at £3m a club record signing from Juventus.
The largest team never to play in Serie A secured their chance by storming to the Serie B title amassing a record 95 points. The
team may no longer warrant being called Third Division Useless as a result and owners Shell Legoland have done their utmost to
ensure this tag won't return next season.

The TDs have stuck to the team that secured promotion in style but made a number of loan deals permanent chief among these the signings of Alberto Gilardino and Gianluca Zambrotta. Fans of the club will be hoping that the £8m forked out to bring in Alberto Gilardino from ND Land champions Albern will pay dividends as the deal is the likely to be biggest the side will secure this season. Also set to line out for the Administrative District club is former Celebs midfielder Florent Malouda who spent less than a month at Greentown Athletic after having been snaped up on a free.
