Inside the LFA: Latest incompetent actions by the football association

Mr Armchairus Fanus, Sports Correspondent

Lego football pitch The 2008/9 football season will usher in a rake of changes by the Legoland Football Association and Legoland Football Federation affecting all aspects of the Empire's national sport. This evolving blog from Armchairus Fanus aims to keep a tab on all the associations' bungling modifications to the Lego football world's rules and practices.

SourcePlus Ruling. Ratified 16 June 2009
The SourcePlus ruling formally came into effect from 16 June 2009 removing non-professional "Local teams" from the future receipt of transfer fees. The new procedure to deal with uncontracted, undocumented players is that these players will be randomly allocated to a "source" club based on the player's nationality and the club's nation.

The allocation is made on a demand-by-demand basis, i.e. following acceptance of a transfer bid by the LFF. The player is allocated free of charge to a club from the player's nation of birth and and the agreed transfer fee is credited to the account of the "source" club. In relation to Legoland clubs, only players from the human states of the Republic of Ireland and Italy are applicable for allocation. Additionally, only clubs currently playing in the LFA SuperLeague's Serie B, Serie C, Serie D and Serie E divisions are entered in the random player allocation draw.
