The 2008/2009 Serie A season will be remembered for a number of record breaking achievements.

The campaign saw a record 8 human controlled clubs battle it out. Not surprisingly the number of foreign owned top division clubs also hit a record 8.

The previous record match attendance of just over 700 was smashed this season when Legoland FC and Legoland United's Old Rule meeting at the Partizan attracted a massive 1933 minifigs.
