Serie B: Third Division UASL has earned promotion to Serie A for the first time in their 15 year history. As arguably the largest Legoland club never to play in the top flight, the TDs will be hoping that their stay will be a long a prosperous one. Manager Giuseppe Materazzi spoke to a massive gathering of journalists after the 2-0 away win over Foggia secured the historic moment.

International: Mr Fifa has confirmed that the door is closing on the LEGO Outer European Cup's future as the competition will be merged with the LEC from the 2009/10 season onwards. The news is expected to cause anger amongst some national football associations.
