Lazio kit

The Strongest were formed in the Castleland's Eternal City in 1994 and played under the name of Lazio until 2nd May 2010. Originally a Legoland club they adopted dual national status (Legoland/ND Land) later in the year and participated in both the ND Land League and the Seria B. The club finished third from bottom in the seven tie second division campaign of 1995 with just six points. Nevertheless rather than failure the club rose from obscurity and they following season were elected into the inaugural Super League. There was no doubt that the ever growing reputation of Lazio in ND Land played a huge part in their successful entry into the Super League.

On 28th August 1999 the long ND Land link with the club was enforced when King Noel, the King of ND Land and President of Black Fortress Barbarians and Parma football clubs, went into talks with the LFA regarding a possible takeover. The LFA and the ND Land King agreed to a deal that saw the association regain control over the Barbarians and Parma whilst the Eagles came under direct ND Land administration. The LFA also gave the club a £10m cash injection. Just four months later and the side reached their first ever cup final by defeating Sampdoria in the Derby Cup semi. However victory was not to be theirs as Bari claimed the trophy with a 3-2 win. Long serving coach, Sven Goran Eriksson, was sacked by the club just three games after steering the club to the cup final after a shock 10-1 derby defeat in the League.

David O'Leary took over the reign and by the final day of the season had Lazio holding onto fourth position and a possible lucrative Champions League place for next term. However in the play-off for the Champions League the club suffered a disastrous penalty shootout exit at the hands of Santaland club Torentes and never made it into Panterra Major's top competition.

After the opening couple of months in the 2000/1 Serie A, the club were looking like serious contenders for the championship. However a couple of disappointing results changed everything. The joint-President, King Noel, decided it was time to part company with O'Leary in October. Events then began to go wrong. In December the club was handed down a record £2m fine after comments by joint-President King Noel. King Noel resigned from his post in February after defeat to Legoland FC and the Autumn dismissal of O'Leary was turning out have been a huge mistake. The appointment of new managers Hector Cuper and then Carlo Ancelotti (Cuper was sacked in January) saw the side's challenge crumble and by the year's climax most fans were thankful that the club had escaped relegation.

The following year a managerless and troubled the team reached, for the second year in a row, the Derby Cup final but once again lost. This time round it was a single goal margin defeat by Genoa that denied a first piece of silverware for the club faithful to celebrate.

On 27 February 2007 King Noel ended his long connection with the Indestructibles by selling the club to ND Land businessfig Mrs Sega in a controversial deal.
