Three second half goals from the reigning champions saw LFC end Napoli's 13 game unbeaten run at the San Paolo. Despite taking the lead through club captain Paolo Cannavaro in the 20th minute, Napoli collapsed under a relentless barrage from the Blues kick-started by Raúl's equaliser three minutes after the half-time break. A goal from Denílson soon followed and the three points were secured by Marco Materazzi in the 83rd minute. The victory sees LFC stay second after surprise leaders Ajax Skerries kept up their amazing form this season with a 1-0 away win over Robin Rangers.

Speaking to reporters, Ajax Skerries boss Roberto Donadoni praised his minifigs for beating the odds and claimed if they believe in themselves he believes they can go all the way. "My 'figs are the best group I have worked with and I firmly believe that there is no finer group of footballers in the land. I am especially pleased that my experienced players are using their guile and craft to outwit our younger opponents. If we continue this way there's no reason why we can't land the Studetto in May" he said.

There was also a win for Legoland United who romped to a 3-0 victory over an out-of-sorts Emperor Eagles. Star forward Christy netted 2 goals in the 87th minute, one from an impressive freekick. Republic's Stephen Ireland and Martín Palermo found the target in their 2-1 win over Marino. The result sees the club stay in 3rd spot. Elsewhere, Port Villa claimed all three points with a 1-0 win over Greentown Athletic, bottom side Lion Lakers did the same with a 3-1 win over Fiorentina and Parma ran out 1-0 victors against Inter Police.
