Is this little piggy off to market?

news

Speculation and gossip was rife at Inter Police's HQ in Legoland Town this afternoon. Most officers that agreed to be interviewed expressed some anxiety at the news but many also said that they could be won over if a prospective buyer had a "decent roadmap" for the franchise.

Rumours circulating in ND Land suggest a leading local company will attempt to put together an offer for a Legoland Serie A club. The full details have not been disclosed, but according to NTV, what has been learned is that it is a "Legoland club as opposed to a 'real' club".

The reports postulate that the team in question has been kept under wraps due to the fear of an immediate dismissal of any offer before talks could even begin, nevertheless, the Minifig Times now understoods that the even-toed ungulates of Legoland Town are the leading contenders.

NTV claim the takeover idea apparently came after reading the Minifig Times' "How to go about taking over a Lego football team" section, and further interest was generated after reading "Think the Pigs at Inter Police could be better managed?". "This is not to suggest that the Pigs are the team in question", said NTV. However, the clubs ruled out were Emperor Eagles, Lion Lakers, Legoland FC and Legoland United due to a mixture of "obvious reasons, and greedy owners".

Analysts expect that a buy-out of one of Legoland's most successful clubs would require a significant payment in hard currency, possibly in addition to a "big wheelbarrow of Lego Pounds".
