Legoland FC fans jeered head coach Patrice Loko off the field this evening following their surprise 2-0 loss to Atlas Bell at Bell Park, a second consecutive defeat for the Old Rule. Following the final whistle, Loko was slammed by reporters at the post-match press conference and accused of "tactical incompetence" and "a schoolfig understanding of the game". Loko's decision to field an aging Luigi Sala in the LFC rearguard and his decision not to buy a "proper defender" in the pre-season has caused some ire amongst supporters of the capital club and it appears the media too.

Despite having an attack equal to none, LFC's defensive frailties where there for all minifigs to see when Joleon Lescott headed home a Michael Carrick freekick in the 45th minute and yet again in the 57th minute when Mark Noble beat Luigi Sala and Marco Materazzi to fire home past Francesco Toldo. Loko hit back at the accusations however despite all evidence pointing against the ND Lander. "Look, our team is missing a great defensive player in Ashley Cole. He should be back in for next Saturday's meeting with Juventus and we should then see a more ship-shape defence. Minifigs should be patient, this season is ours."

Despite Loko's attempted words of reassurance, the press are reporting tonight that Loko will be shown the door if he doesn't claim all 3 points for the Blues in the Imperial Derby. Rumours have emerged suggesting that the Old Rule are in talks with former coach Jose Mourinho about the possibility of a return but they have also been linked to Ajax Skerries' Roberto Donadoni and Bell's Rafael Benítez.

LFC's downfall came as Legoland United recorded another impressive win, a 4-1 thumping of an out of sorts Inter Police. The win left the Reds in 7th place and the Pigs bottom having failed to win any of their opening 4 Serie A games to date. Lion Lakers top the table on 10 points following a 1-1 draw with Parma. Roma are second after inflicting another 5-1 loss on Stuart Spacers.

Elsewhere the Serie B season kicked off with the top 5 favourites for promotion, the Celebs, Verdy, Millionaires, Louisville Minifigs and Legoland City all having solid starts. Celebs drew 2-2 with Louisville whilst Legoland City also picked up a point at home to Torino. Verdy and Millionaires picked up wins against Genoa and Bari. The team of the round was however Robin Rangers who romped to a 6-0 win over Sea Hawks.
