Legoland's Consensus confirmed that asylum has been granted to PBR national Colonel Brik. "Colonel Brik is a friend to Legoland and has proven this through his participation in Legoland football", said Consensus.

LEGOLAND CITY-The political lives of both Legoland’s General Secretary and PBR’s most influential businessfig look over tonight after Colonel Brik visited the under-fire head of the Legoland government in less than ideal circumstances. Both minifigs have serious difficulties with Colonel Brik seeking refuge after violence swept the fragmented PBR and General Secretary Obnoxious Consensus seeking a boost in his popularity ratings after the latest plunge.
In the PBR, a stunning surprise attack by the North Province leader Crazy Ivan saw the South Province fall within the day. The ousted leader of the South Province and friend of Colonel Brik, the “Wise man”, is now missing and presumed dead. With Colonel Brik overseas keeping tabs on his Legoland SuperLeague team, Napoli, his private army were leaderless and overwhelmed by the North’s superior force of Rebel Troops, Cobra and Jedi Knights.
With the South Province no longer in existence, the state of PBR is now split into two factions, the North and Middle. Bob the King, leader of the Middle refused to get involved in this latest conflict and refused to allow Colonel Brik refuge in his province.
Without alternative options available and with the threat of assassination, Colonel Brik sought refuge with Consensus’s government in Legoland which was formally granted today. According to Minifig Life’s political correspondent Mr Humorous Precalculus, Colonel Brik was granted asylum as Consensus was “looking for any chance to divert attention away from domestic issues”. The recession the Legoland economy is experiencing and the growing unrest in parts of the country has seen Consensus’s approval rating fall to 5%.
Precalculus also commented on Colonel Brik’s somewhat altered apparel when he met Consensus today. “It seems that Consensus’s government have asked Colonel Brik to lose the cloak, common clothing worn by the Legoban. Associating himself and his government with the Legoban would be political suicide”. Indeed, the Legoban, along with their Al-Kyeda allies, have instigating an insurgency against the Legoland central government and already control parts of the Castleland Autonomous Province, most noticeably Figland.
