LFC threaten NDFA with legal action

news

Thierry Henry welcomed a move to LFC saying that he wanted to leave a country where it was clear he was "unwelcome". The cheating frog lamblasted ND Land politicians for failing to halt the national media's "unfair portrayal of cheats".

LEGOLAND CITY-Legoland FC have announced that they will “not be ripped-off” by the ND Land Football Association in their bid for disgraced footballer Thierry Henry after it emerged on Wednesday that the bumbling organisation was looking for LFC to pay any compensation package with Henry’s previous employers, Shrewsbury.

LFC president Francesco Pedone told the Minifig Times that the NDFA need to be crystal clear and transparent and inventing a fee simply because LFC had shown interest was not just unfair but illegal. “The International Convention on Minifig Rights states that minifigs that are uncontracted to an employer may seek legal employment anywhere and have no obligation to their former employers. As Henry is unattached to any club or organisation now, it is our judgement that he can join us with no transfer fee required. We don't have a problem going to the courts, what I'll say to the NDFA is bring it on.”

Pedone’s comments come after Wednesday’s edition of the ND Times claimed that Henry's future could depend on the price tag the NDFA placed on player. "As the NDFA will have to fork out in order to compensate Shrewsbury, who have yet to be paid after the NDFA banned Henry for life last week, the association will need to recoup this money from Henry's future club,” the paper explained.

The question remains whether Legoland FC will be willing to pay the price to sign the outcast. Reports indicate that the fee will be small but that has yet to be decided.

Meanwhile anger has spread throughout ND Land upon hearing the news that Francesco Pedone had stated that LFC were interested in signing Henry. Zdenek Zeman, who has never been afraid to share his opinions, has stated that he wants Henry executed. Kland FC manager Raymond Domenech has also come under huge criticism following some of his atrocious remarks in support of Henry with many ND Land minifigs calling for him to be banned for life also.
