A number of LFC's foes have indicated they may take legal action against the football association. A Legoland United insider is reported to have said that the club's lawyers "appeared more busy since lunchtime".

LEGOLAND CITY-Legoland FC have unvealed Gardinian international superstar Kaka has their latest "Galactico" at an impromptu press conference held in the capital today. The player has joined from Albern in a deal thought to be worth €30m to the ND Land giants but the move has angered many as it comes nearly 42 hours after the January transfer window formally shut at midnight on Sunday. The football association has been quick to defend the granting of an exception to LFC with organisation president Mr Fifa issuing the following brief statement from a secret location, where he currently resides in hiding following death threats he received last November.

"As head of the Legoland Football Association I can confirm that Legoland Football Club sought an extension to the transfer window due to their fax machine and email sever going down on Sunday afternoon. Due to the credibility of the club and the tecnhical problems they were experiencing I personally granted the additional time to enable the registering of Kaka as an Legoland FC employee. Neither I nor any of my colleagues believe we have acted improperly and trust the public will believe likewise".

A TMT/CC poll carried out in the capital showed most minifigs who do not count themselves as supporters of Legoland FC or their fierce rivals Legoland United believe Mr Fifa and his possibly corrupt organisation have acted improperly. "No surprise there", one passer-by was heard comment.

Meanwhile, Lemming Burg, the Minifigs Times' correspondent on the ground in ND Land, is of the view that LFC's purchase of Kaka at this time "is one big gamble" as Kaka has been "pants" this season taking a starring role in helping the Whites rule themselves out of the title race.

Nevertheless the minifigs at LFC seem to feel it is a gamble worth taking and LFC president Francesco Pedone who sat in at the press conference confirmed his view that gambling is something LFC fans will have to get used to under his reign. "If you don't gamble you can't win", he told the media adding that "to me gambling with club finances is avant-garde forward thinking and in the future all clubs will follow this doctrine. I don't ever recall any winner saying gambling is unwise, that's loser talk".

Elsewhere, Serie A side Inter Police have expressed outrage today after recent signing Thierry Henry was found with a satellite dish and antennae rooted to his head. A legal team representing Inter Police accused "ND Land operatives" of carrying out the attack and stated their belief that "ND Land's unruly ruler King Noel" may have been involved. It is unclear whether Henry will now feature for the Pigs in tomorrow's game at Emperor Eagles.

In other football related news, Legoland United's proposal to rename the San Siro stadium the Palace of Invalides stadium in honour of their legendary disabled trio of Leper, Cripple and Christy has received the thumbs up by pundits and public alike over the last few days. Speaking to RTL TV, former United skipper Ettore Ferraroni said it would be a "fitting tribute" to the Reds' most loved and loyal servants."
