Raul's brilliant shot beats United goalkeeper Antonioli at his right post. The victory still leaves the Blues a massive 13 points adrift of their
local rivals who top the table ahead of surprise package BFB. The Barbarians closed the gap at the top to 7 points with an entertaining 3-2 win over a Napoli side who have now failed to win in 12 games.

A goal from Raul at the end of an entertaining first half of football was enough to hand Legoland FC a hard-fought victory over arch enemies Legoland United in the capital this afternoon. An air of malevolence descended upon the city as the Empire's two most prestigious sides clashed at the Partizan in front of a huge crowd, the majority of which were to leave the terraces at the end of the game in jubilant mood.
The game began brightly with clear-cut chances going a begging for both sides in the opening 15 minutes. LFC's Franck Ribery was most guilty missing a gilt-edge chance in the 9th minute when he found himself free inside the 6 yard box only to scuff his attempt wide of the left hand post. Chances passed for LFC's greedy Cashley [sic] Cole and Romario whilst United came close through Robert Pires, his effort firing just over Toldo's goal.
The tie exploded into life in the 34th minute when the home side were awarded a penalty after Legoland United forward Samion was deemed to have fouled Franck Ribery in the box. The decision to award the spot-kick looked dubious but Cristiano Ronaldo seemed to revel in this and slotted the ball home to make it 1-0. With LFC and their fans on apparent seventh heaven and unfocused on the job they found the tie levelled within seconds when Fabio Galante fired home a screamer from 30 yards.
LFC were fuming and were lucky not to have been reduced to 10 minifigs soon after with Marco Materazzi clearly seen punching United midfielder Daniele Dessena in the face. Materazzi, still angry at Dessena after his goal for Parma against LFC on the last day of last season, is well known to harbour ill feelings towards the 'fig. The referee however decided to give Materazzi a caution rather than a more appropriate instruction to leave the field for an early shower.
With both sides looking destined to go in tied at half-time, Raul informed all watching of his low opinion for the destiny theory. A stunning run through the entire United rearguard by the minifig was capped with a sublime finish that left the Reds reeling and the LFC players celebrating until the half-time whistle blew.
The second half saw Blues' coach Patrice Loko shift to a more defensive tact taking off Kaka and Denilson for the more defensive minded duo of Jerome Leroy and Marco Motta. United's attempt to pierce the LFC defence were limited with their opponents playing 11 minifigs behind the ball for nearly the entire second 45 minutes.
The game fizzled out with LFC's "ugly" tactics coming in for severe criticism from the media yet after the game fans of the Blue half did not care. Speaking to a huge gathering of reporters, LFC manager Patrice Loko called the win one the best in his career and said justice had been done. "We don't use wizards to cheat, we win through honesty and hard work. Life is good when life is just."
