Established in 1993 Castleland United are amongst the oldest club sides in the Empire. The team were however lost to history alongside Republic and all but forgotten in the ensuing seasons.
The Shields' claim to fame is their most impressive exploits in the Derby Cup. The Castleland side has landed an unequalled 6 cup titles, 5 in consecutive seasons.
