Lion Lakers AS
The Lakers
Lion Lakers are the largest club in the Castleland region of Legoland and get their support primarily from the large base of Castle Lion knights and peasantry.
The club were sleeping giants until the capture of their second league title in 2011 was accompanied by further success. Praise was heaped on the owners, the Export Company, who took over the club in 2008 following 12 unsuccessful years under the helm of businessfig Helix Legoda. Although sourcing significant new funds for injection into the club was hit by the 2008 construction sector collapse, the Export Company targeted the club's limited funds at veteran big-name players coming to the end of their careers. This transfer strategy proved a success with high-quality players brought in for lower end pricetags.
