Violets
The Purple
Established in 1994 the Violets adopted their current name in 2010 as part of the Legoisation Programme instigated by the Legoland Football Association. The club have played just a handful of seasons in the domestic football scene's top flight. Despite some significant financial backing in the late 1990s the Arragon outfit failed to hit the big time and have for the most part languished in the lower divisions. This history resulted in a legacy of perceived underachievement at the club, a view that many residents of Arragon retain today.
In March 2008 a new era for the Violets began as the society were sold to LegaƱan oil tycoon Ricardo Rico.
